Can - Tago Mago
Tago Mago is the third album by Can (German band Kraut Rock movement), published in 1971. Originally a double album, but is available on one CD. It is often considered his most important album since the album is more experimental and risky and the most influential. Tago Mago includes tracks like "Aumgn" a collage of sounds from more than 17 minutes (which occupies an entire side of vinyl) and "Peking O", another piece of avantgarde where vocalist Damo Suzuki (the second album that has him on vocals, and the first that is the only one) is a great player. It also highlights "Halleluwah, a 18-minute jam (also covered the entire side) with influences of funk, based on the repetitive and complex percussion Jaki Liebezeit. "Tago Mago" has become one of the most recognized experimental albums and has received rave reviews.
