Pink Floyd - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn

After a while without posting, I'm bringing this album one of the big bands of psychedelic and progressive rock.

The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn is the first album by Pink Floyd.

Syd Barrett was the main songwriter of most issues, but the contributions of each member of the band were fundamental. The album has whimsical lyrics, about space, scarecrows, gnomes, bicycles and fairytales, together with sections of psychedelic music. Its title comes from one of the chapters of a book he read Barrett young: The Wind In The Willows (The Wind in the Willows), by Kenneth Grahame. In it, the characters Rat and Mole, are with the god Pan, who represents the powerful force of nature, and help animals find a missing otter. On this album, like Barrett appreciates the letters based on spontaneous mental associations, something like a psychotropic trip.
